I Ride: 2010 KTM250SX, 2001 Husaberg FC550
Relocation of HI/LO switch

I am looking for a small/water poof switch to relocate my HI/LO switch between the handle bars and number plate.

Where are you located? I can only suggest going to an automotive electrical type parts place - eg lights & stuff. You could also try marine shops but be prepared to pay more for a switch there. Any waterproof switch will do.

A few have just removed the switch completely & left the HI/LO wire on the CDI disconnected. When disconnected the ignition defaults to the HI advance curve.

the wire will stretch to there no problem! all you need to do is find a way of mounting it. can i suggest some kind of bolt head and a piece of tube or hose over it. then fit the switch and pinch tight on the screws.
