I Ride: FE390
FE 390 Diagnostic/ECU/new map?

hi all
my bike has 200 hours on it and aprox 5000km, 2010 year model
I never serviced the bike on a dealer that had the Diagnostic tool and software so far, so my ECU never plugged for a diagnosis and update
Do you think it is crucial to do it and have real benefits from such a service?
or should i escape with it?
thank you

I Ride: 2010 FE450
Welcome Toulioss, I also have a 2010 but a FE 450 and have never had it serviced at the dealer or remapped. I have 200 hours on mine and do all the maintenance except suspension. So hope that helps, heck just ride it and have fun.

Toulioss, since you are in Greece, you already have the European Map - you should be fine. The US bikes were imported with a map that was designed to meet California emissions laws, as I understand it, and they benefit from getting the Euro map. My 390 has the Euro map, and while it is not nearly as fast as my 570 FE and my 570 FS, it is much easier to ride in the woods, and even on tight mountain roads. Ride in and enjoy it!

Best Wishes!
