FI Blink light stays on...

Hey guys,
I installed low fuel indicator light and a few other goodies (horn etc..) today. I did partially drain the radiators down a little and started it before I put it all the way back together. The FI light was on. Finished putting it back together and rode it slowly around the yard. Runs great, fuel light works, horn works, bike starts and runs perfect BUT now the FI light is staying lit up. No blink codes or anything... Any suggestions? I'm going to try it again tomorrow but I already lost daylight putting it back together.

I am thinking it has a hard code of some sort?? Nothing faulting at this time but possibly it threw a code when you did your install ? If you have not tried this, Disconnect your battery, with no battery touch positive and negative wires together for a second to power down any voltage held in pcm. Hook battery back up and try. Just an idea as hard to tell via internet without seeing bike.

So I figured it out... Need a laugh>>> I had taken the computer out to install the bigger indicator lights bracket. I guess I put the light into the high beam indicator instead of FI indicator light, so it easily went off when I turned the high beams off So now its all fixed, was able to breathe a big sigh of relief and completely reassemble my bike. It gets better I filled up the gas tank to have it all leak out the new hole I had drilled in the gas tank. So back apart it came. Put some fuelproof sealant and am waiting for DAYLIGHT to put it all back together in 1 piece and go for a ride. No more working on it after 14 hour day at work and then no daylight...
Thanks from tourist

I installed the low fuel light sensor too and was very nervous when it came to drilling out the tank....luckily no leaks. I have since installed the 70 deg subframe fuel tank, which is transparent, so now the low fuel light is kind of useless. Hope you are able to get it all sealed up with no leaks.
