Click but nothing else

Hi, I've built myself an offroad buggy using a kit with a wrecked Husaberg 650 Engine that i've pulled out of the frame and got working. Because my fuel tank is now located below the engine I've been using a vaccum pump to get fuel to the engine - which hasn't worked so well. Recently upgraded to an electri fuel pump which has been much better.

Yesterday I dropped a spanner onto the connections to the engine from the battery. Its shorted something out and things have sparked. Now when I kick the engine over I've got nothing but a click.

I've replaced the battery and checked all the fuses I can find. Any ideas?

I've come to realise that Taffy is the "Dr House" of the Husaberg world. I'm sure the TV show House is broadcast around the world so you should all know what I mean. Here I am thinking the stator is fried an Taffy looks beyond that, always searching for more clues.

The part where he secretly rides a Honda?

Or maybe where he shoves a thermometer up your ass just to make you uncomfortable....

i once complained about my scarlet (see photos of FR2) condition and was recommended to the ENT clincic at newmarket. i walked into the surgery and i went through to meet the doctor who was speaking with a thick afrikaans accent. like all doctors they have you looking ahead and i noticed a set of weighing scales on the floor.

on a little self adhesive sticker on the front i could see the words "POST NATAL".

i asked the doctor "why have you bothered to bring a set of scales with you all the way from sud afrika?"

....and seriously - that's a true story!
