Bleeding air from cooling system fe450 09

Hey guys,

Probably a silly question but I need to replace one of the lower hoses on my 09 fe450 - once replaced & topped with new coolant do I need to bleed any air from the system? If so where do I bleed it from?

Let it run up to temperature with the radiator cap off and wait for the thermostat to open, it will bubble and spit out some coolant then the level will stabilize. Let it cool, check the level and you're done.
Thanks from tourist and FE350

While cooling, how much should be the level?

Does this work as an alternative to using the bleeder valve? I believe the manuel says to use the bleeder valve. Ive located mine (second owner, first supermoto) and this is the condition it was in. Not sure why its like this.

Most bleeder ports are at the highest point in the system to release air. Thus saying the rad cap would be a high point. My KTM has a bleeder on the rad at the top. My Husa has nothing just the cap. Air will rise to the highest point, in some cases a vacuum bleeder is required to suck out the air, but have never had to use one on a bike.
I would take Bergls advise as it does work fine.
