Re: New Evans Cooling Product

DaleEO,

What level of coolant do you put with the Evans?

I have to let the level a bit lower than the manual says, otherwise overflows.

As I said, Im running the NPG+, wich I think it has more density compared to the NPGR.
The NPGR maybe can be at a higher level compared to the NPG+.

Really? I put mine at 10mm's above the top of the coolant tubes and don't have a problem.

You are using the NPGR, right?

Have you ever used the NPG+?

Before I bought the NPG+, I asked a few questions to the main Evans dealer in USA, and a technitian told me that for an engine with small radiators, like an Enduro bike, it is better to use the NPGR in stead of the NPG+, due to the difference on the density, better for the small tubes of this type of radiators.

Sorry, I mean Viscosity, not Density.

That is true, the NPGR has viscosity modifiers in it that adapt it to the smaller tubes of a motorcycle.
