Modifying to add coolant reservoir

Hey,

I'm trying to add a coolant reservoir to my 05 FE45oe, is it necessary to get a different radiator cap that allows coolant out AND in or does the stock unit allow both?

Thanks!

The stock radiator cap will work fine with the coolant recovery system.

Re: Modifying to add coolant reservoir

your coolant recovery tank must have a vent on it, on the top where the coolant wont come out, the vent on the tank allows the coolant go in and out easily from the radiator
