Correct coolant 2010 FE570

Hello all, just after some advise.

I've smashed my RHS radiator on a rock and had to replace it. I drained the coolant into a clean bucket and all was good untill the bucket was overturned and i lost the lot.

I have some coolant in the form of "Castrol radi cool". It contains 33% Ethylene Glycol with 10mg/kg of Denatonium Benzoate that i use in my landcruiser, it is already diluted and ready to use, will this do the job.

Any help would be appreciated as i'm not to cluey on this matter and dont want to harm my engine.

Cheers Damo.

The service manual recommends Motorex "mixed ready to use". Personally I use Honda pre mixed because it's made with purified (maybe deionized) water in all my bikes.

I've tried several different coolants..........

Engine Ice=poop, pick up a jug of this stuff sometime and tilt it over so that one corner is the lowest point and notice all the white crap that collects there. This stuff is silicate grains, don't imagine that your impeller and seal would like this very much.

Evans NPG-R, -great as long as you don't ride in below freezing conditions as it is not recommended for that, although I have used it when it was in the teens F, and had no trouble. Zero pressure in the systems, won't boil till 400 degrees, just doesn't exchange heat quite as well as water/glycol coolant. Great stuff, just a little pricey.

DI or de-ionized water and red line water wetter=great heat exchange but, you depend soley on the pressure of your system cap and rad fan to keep from boiling over and NO freeze protection.

Now a days I just use Prestone pre mixed 50/50 coolant and have not worries.
